TCI 2018 European Conference Sofia

The TCI 2018 European Conference featured cluster tours, a range of global senior-level speakers, discussions and parallel sessions. The conference was focused on how do cluster-based efforts need to be structured to align better with local circumstances, from the sophistication of firms to the capacity of government and the general conditions of competitiveness. Also the conference featured how can cluster efforts become drivers of broader changes in locational competitiveness.

The Bulgarian Furniture Cluster was invited to participte as a lead cluster from Bulgaria and also to present the FORESDA project and the PIE – Bikey. Pilot innovation environments could provide opportunities to engage with the full set of issues relevant for more effective cluster-based efforts which upgrade the capacity of the clusters.

Mrs. Christova-Murray had a presentation at the Parallel Sessions – Building Capacities for Clusters on the second day of the conference (see program attached). During the session, Mrs. Christova-Murray gave an information about the FORESDA project and presented the PIE – Bikey.
